There have been multiple new announcements as well as changes introduced to improve Canada immigration system in 2022.
As of latest available data, Canada processed record more than 4.8 million applications in 2022. However, there are still around 2.2 million applications under processing.
Processing times are still slow, but on the positive side there are signs of improvement across all the categories.
