Ontario Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) officially known as Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) regularly scans Express Entry pool and offers provincial nomination directly to profiles with occupations (NOC codes) that are in high demand.
Ontario may invite profiles created under any of the three categories of Express Entry; Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), Canadian Experience Class (CEC), or Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP).
As we all know, provincial nomination adds 600 extra points to existing CRS score in Express Entry pool, if the invited profile accept the invitation from Ontario PNP.
As a result, invitation in next Express Entry “no program specified” draw becomes practically next to 100%.
In 2022, Ontario PNP (also known as OINP – Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program) invited 13,057 Express Entry profiles directly from the pool under three categories.
Most of the invites were sent to Skilled Trades Stream (7,506) followed by Human Capital Priorities Stream (4,012) and French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream (1,539).
Interesting fact is that latest Skilled Trades OINP draw on September 29 declared Express Entry CRS cut off score of just 266.
So that our readers can better plan for 2023, we compiled the list of occupations with their NOC codes that were directly invited from Express Entry pool by Ontario PNP during 2022.
