Latest OINP Draw Invited 301 Francophone Workers For PR!

On April 28, 2022 – OINP draw (Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program) issued 301 notifications of interest under French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream. CRS cut off score ranged between 460 – 467. Furthermore, this OINP draw considered profiles created in express entry system between April 28, 2021 – April 28, 2022.

Previous francophone skilled worker OINP draw was on February 8 and invited 206 express entry profiles. And, CRS cut off score range was between 463-467. So far, OINP has invited 507 candidates in 2022 under this stream. To put in perspective, only 651 invitations were sent last year in French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream. Cut off score range stayed between 455 – 467 during 2021.

Eligibility

To be eligible for OINP French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream, you must have:

  • valid express entry profile. Either, Federal Skilled Worker or Canadian Experience Class.
  • Canadian bachelor’s, master’s or PhD degree or its equivalent in another country.
  • CLB level 7 in French as well as CLB level 6 in English. Click here for language equivalency chart.
  • intention to live in Ontario after you’re granted permanent residence.
How To Apply:

There is no separate application for OINP French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream. OINP search IRCC’s Express Entry pool to find candidates. If you are invited to apply in one of these draws, then you will receive a notification in your IRCC online account. Invited candidates are then required to submit their application within 45 days of this notification.

Generally, this stream has average processing time of 60 – 90 days. Applications that require clarification or more information take longer to process.
