IRCC updated their processing tool in 2022 to provide precise information on average processing times of recent applications.

This article lists updated processing times by IRCC as of February 1, 2023 as well as comparison with processing times reported last week.

These processing timelines are given to provide applicants for Canada visas or immigration an idea of how long it might take for processing of their applications by IRCC.

Additionally, potential applicants who desire to submit an application for a Canadian immigration or visa can acquire a feel of what to anticipate before doing so.

Based on data gathered over the last 6 months, these processing times are intended to provide new weekly processing times.

Furthermore, the processing period starts when the application is received by IRCC and concludes when the immigration officer makes a determination about the application.
