Ontario Express Entry Draw Issues 2,086 PR Invitations

A new OINP (Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program) Express Entry draw for 2024 on February 6 sent out 2,086 permanent residency (PR) invitations.

This is the first Human Capital Priorities Stream (HCP) stream round of invitations by the OINP (Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program) in 2024.

In 2023, 14 OINP HCP stream draws sent out a total of 17,502 permanent residency invitations. Click here for all the 2023 HCP draws.

Express Entry candidates with experience in one of 42 healthcare occupations are invited to participate in this OINP draw.

Express Entry profiles with a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score between 379 and 430 and a primary occupation under one of the above-mentioned occupations received an invitation to accept provincial nominations from Ontario.

This OINP draw considered the Express Entry profiles produced between February 6, 2023, and February 6, 2024, that met the aforementioned criteria.

Candidates that are selected in this draw will have 45 days to respond with a comprehensive application in order to claim their provincial nominations.

Following an OINP nomination, these profiles will get 600 points, bringing their CRS score to between 979 and 1,030, ensuring their selection in the next general Express Entry draw.
