Eligibility for Ontario PNP Employer Job Offer: International Student Stream:

  • Intention to live in Ontario.
  • You must have a full-time job offer in Skill level O, A, or B for a permanent position. Permanent means the job must have no end date (also known as an indeterminate duration). Job offers that are seasonal and/or contract based are ineligible.
  • Education from OINP approved institution. Click here for list of eligible colleges and universities. You must have a degree or diploma that takes at least two years to complete if you study on a full-time basis, or
    • a degree, diploma or certificate that takes at least one year to complete if you study on a full-time basis and that requires a completed degree as an admission requirement.

Eligibility for Ontario PNP Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker Stream

  • A full-time (1,560 hours/year and at least 30 hours/week) job offer without any ending date, in NOC O, A, or B skill levels in Ontario.
  • You must have at least two years of cumulative paid full-time work experience (or the equivalent in paid part-time work) in the same occupation as your job offer.
    • There is no need for this two years of work experience, if your job offer is for an occupation that requires a mandatory licence or authorization, but you must hold a valid licence or authorization.
  • Intention to live in Ontario.

Eligibility for Ontario PNP Employer Job Offer: In-Demand Skills

  • A full-time (1,560 hours/year and at least 30 hours/week) job offer in one of the eligible NOC C and D jobs listed by Ontario. Click here for more details eligible occupations.
  • Language Requirement: CLB level 4 or higher.
  • You must have at least 9 months of cumulative paid full-time work experience (or the equivalent in paid part-time work) within last 3 years, in the same occupation as your job offer.
  • If your job offer is for an occupation that requires a mandatory license or other authorization in Ontario, you must hold a valid license or authorization.
  • You must intend to live in Ontario after you’ve been granted permanent residence.

HOW TO APPLY For Ontario PNP (OINP):

To apply under this stream, you must first create a profile in the OINP e-Filing Portal. After creating a profile, you must then register an expression of interest for the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream.
