5 New Ontario-OINP Draws Sent 468 PR Invitations On August 28

New OINP Update: The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) has issued a total of 468 invitations through five targeted draws on August 28, 2025.

These draws, part of the Foreign Worker stream, International Student stream, and In-Demand Skills stream focus on attracting talent to key regions of Ontario.

This latest rounds comes in after nearly 3-month halt in OINP draws, with previous draws held on June 6, 2025.

Profiles created between July 2, 2025, and August 28, 2025, were eligible, with varying score thresholds depending on the stream and targeted focus.

If you’ve received an invitation, your employer must submit the application within 14 calendar days for the approval of your employment position as per the new OINP intake system introduced in July 2025.

Ontario-OINP Foreign Worker Stream Draws

This stream targets foreign workers with job offers from Ontario employers, emphasizing skills that align with the province’s economic needs.

Northern Ontario includes Census Divisions such as Muskoka, Haliburton, Nipissing, Parry Sound, Manitoulin, Sudbury, Greater Sudbury/Grand Sudbury, Timiskaming, Cochrane, Algoma, Thunder Bay, Rainy River, and Kenora.

Meanwhile, the REDI pilot targets specific communities in Census Divisions including Lambton, Lanark, and Leeds and Grenville, aiming to bolster local economies through strategic immigration.

Ontario-OINP International Student Stream Draws

Aimed at recent international graduates with job offers in Ontario, this stream helps retain global talent.

It saw the highest number of invitations in this round, with two targeted draws:
