CO-OP Courses In University Of Toronto – Here Is The List!

The University of Toronto offers co-op or internship programs across all disciplines. However, as a student, you’ll be required to maintain a high G.P.A. to be eligible for coop and internships. Once you qualify, you can access about 1000+ positions across industries.

With co-op program, international students can work as an intern in their field of study to gain experience. Additionally, they can work 20 hours per week as per their regular study permit.

Listed below are undergraduate programs that include co-ops for engineering, commerce, arts, sciences, and management studies. 

Engineering and Commerce: Professional Experience Year Co-op Program

The PEY Co-op program is for U of T students studying engineering or commerce. It provides the opportunity to work full-time for 12 to 16 months after the third year. In addition, you have the option to work four months after your second year.

As a result, you’ll have up to 20 months of professional experience before you graduate. It will also help with future job opportunities and help you get Canadian work experience.

Arts & Science Internship Program (ASIP)

Students enrolled in arts and sciences programs are eligible for ASIP. The ASIP program combines paid work experience with professional training. You’ll complete two full-time paid work terms for 12, 16, or 20 months as part of this program.

Moreover, your course will include professional development courses to learn job finding skills, résumé writing, and build relationships with employers. Besides, you’ll get access to a dedicated coop job board, workshops, and events.
