Ontario-OINP Draw Sent 1,469 Permanent Residency Invites

On January 24, 2024, the new Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) draw sent out 1,469 invitations to apply for permanent residency status.

OINP sent 1,344 invites to profiles formed under the Masters Graduate Stream in a general draw with an Expression of Interest score of 50 or above.

In addition, all EOI profiles with a score of 45 or higher will receive 125 invites to apply for the PhD Graduate stream.

Expressions of Interest (EOI) profiles created between January 24, 2023, and January 24, 2024 were eligible for these OINP draws.

Invited candidates now have 14 days to submit an application supporting the information in their Expression of Interest profile in order to be granted permanent residency (PR) in Ontario.

International students seeking permanent residency in Canada can enroll in a Masters degree at one of the qualified universities instead of getting LMIAs or operating payrolls, which will:

Give them the right to remain in Canada as students and a much higher chance of obtaining permanent status.

Because a job offer is not required for the OINP Masters Graduate Stream, it is recommended to spend your money on developing your professional profile rather than obtaining employment offers, LMIAs, or payrolls.

So far, the OINP Expression of Interest has yielded a total of 4,586 invitations to permanent residency.

So far, the Foreign Worker stream has sent the most: 3,117 invitations, trailing only the Masters Graduate stream, which has received approximately 1,300 invitations.
