Today, the second Express Entry draw of 2024 exclusively for trade occupations, issued 1,800 invitations to apply (ITAs) for permanent residency.
All Express Entry profiles in this trade draw received ITAs if they had a comprehensive ranking system (CRS) score of 433 or higher and at least six months of experience in one of the 10 trade occupations.

What are the category-based Express Entry draws?
In 2023, the IRCC launched category-based Express Entry rounds of invitations, specifically designing special draws to target the six categories listed below:

How to Prepare If You Received an ITA?
Receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) is just the beginning. Here’s what you need to do next:
Submit all required documents:
Passport or travel document
Language test results (IELTS, CELPIP, etc.)
Educational Credential Assessment (ECA)
Work experience letters
Proof of funds (if required)
Complete the application within 60 days: IRCC gives 60 days to submit the PR application after receiving the ITA.
Medical and police clearance certificates: Ensure your medical examination and police certificates are valid and up to date.
