New IEC 2023 Round Of Invitations Sent Around 1,000 Invites

The 12th IEC 2023 (International Experience Canada) batch of invites sent out almost 900 invitations across three categories, for the week ending March 31.

Working Holiday visas, Young Professionals, and International Co-Op are among the three categories of IEC 2023.

Under the IEC Working Holiday visa category, more than 591 invitations were given to candidates in a pool from more than 30 different countries.

The IEC is currently reducing the amount of invites because more than 75% of the IEC 2023 limit has been reached.

More than 200 invitations were extended to candidates in the IEC 2023 Young Professionals pool.

In addition, around 162 applicants were invited under the International Co-op (internship) category.

The current IEC season has a processing time of 4 weeks, according to the most recent IRCC official processing update of March 29.

IEC 2023 Working Holiday Visa

Working Holiday invitees are given an unrestricted work visa that permits them to work for nearly any company in Canada.

You are eligible if you are from a qualifying nation and;

• have received no job offer
• would like to work for more than one firm in Canada
• would desire to work in more than one pitch and earn enough money to travel

Under the Young Professionals category, invited candidates are given an employer-specific work visa.

Candidates for this category must have the following qualifications:

• a legitimate employment offer from a Canadian firm that can help you progress professionally.
• to work for the same company in the same location.

International Co-op (Internship)

In the International Co-op (Internship) category, an employer-specific work visa is given, if you fall into the group listed below.

• are a post-secondary student who has been offered a position in Canada for a work placement or internship;
• will complete this work placement or internship to complete your studies; and
• will work for the same employer in the same location throughout your stay in Canada.
