Latest Express Entry Draw Invited 521 Candidates For PR

Today, IRCC invited 521 Express Entry profiles to apply for permanent residency (PR). Applicants having a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 732 or above received the invitations. This draw was only for applicants who had a provincial nomination from one of the Canadian province. Last Express Entry PNP draw was on September 1 which declared cut of score of 764.

Total of 9,282 profiles have been invited in Express Entry PNP (Provincial Nominee Program) only draws this year. In these draws, highest CRS cut off was 813 in January and lowest was 682 in March.

Eligibility For This Express Entry Draw:

To be eligible for Provincial Nominee Program Express Entry Draw you need:

  • A valid express entry profile in any of the three categories; Federal Skilled Worker (FSW), Federal Skilled Trades (FST), or Canadian Experience Class (CEC); AND
  • Provincial Nomination from one of the Canadian provinces. Having a provincial nomination gives 600 points to the profiles in the Express Entry system.

Will There Be “No Program Specified” Draw This Year?

Last “No Program Specified” draw was on December 23, 2020 which invited 5,000 profiles with CRS score of 468 or above. Since then there has not been any “No Program Specified Draw.”

IRCC has target of 108,500 for 2021 under express entry system, with higher range of 110,250. This includes all the express entry categories; Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program, and Canadian Experience Class.

So far, Canada has issued 108,915 invitations to apply under Canadian Experience Class and Provincial Nominee draws. Most of the invitations went to Canadian Experience Class at 101,653 and remaining to Provincial Nomination Draws.

In the light of above mentioned, data it seems that possibility of “No Program Specified” draw is quite less this year.
