Brief On Effect of New Immigration Levels Plan Announced February 15!
FHS (Federal Skilled Worker and Canadian Experience Class) targets have been significantly reduced in new immigration levels plan and this is being considered negative for express entry outland applicants. However, PNP has became popular because of these new immigration levels plan and cut off score may increase further with more outland applicants opting for PNPs.
IRCC has separately allocated some quota for TR2PR pathway, which Canadian Experience Class candidates may apply, but there is still no confirmation for TR2PR based on new immigration levels. This is because immigration fraternity has different views on this as some believe that new allocation to TR2PR will only consider previous applications, but some believe that there will be announcement on TR2PR policy again.
