Today, the BC PNP tech draw (British Columbia) invited 136 applicants for provincial nomination under 4 categories of BC Tech stream; SI – Skilled Worker, SI – International Graduate, EEBC – Skilled Worker, and EEBC – International Graduate. Minimum score required to be invited in this draw remained same to 85 as compared to the previous draw.
The British Columbia PNP Tech provides tech employers to recruit as well as retain international employees in 29 tech occupations. It is a prioritized pathway to permanent residency for people working in these 29 tech occupations.
It considers all the applicants with these occupations under Skilled Immigration (SI) – Skilled Worker, Skilled Immigration (SI) – International Graduate, Express Entry British Columbia (EEBC) – Skilled Worker, and Express Entry British Columbia (EEBC) – International Graduate.
BC PNP tech draw is held biweekly and offers priority processing of applications. And, BC PNP claims to process 80% of the applications within 2-3 months. This program does not require LMIA, but a valid job offer is required. And, it must be for at least one year (365 days). Furthermore, job offer must have at least 120 days remaining at the time of application.
Tech program consider the candidates having a valid express entry profile under EEBC (Express Entry BC) categories. Also, it consider candidates who only submitted Expression of Interest with BC under SI (Skilled Immigration) category.
