Latest BC PNP Draw Sent More Than 280 New Invites For PR

January 31 – Today, the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP Draw) invited more than 280 applicants for permanent residency (PR).

This was a targeted draw at Tech and Healthcare profiles, with most of the invitations 243, sent to 35 Tech occupations or NOC codes. Rest went to healthcare and childcare occupations.

These invites were sent under the Skilled Worker and International Graduate stream, including Express Entry BC PNP option.

The minimum cutoff score reduced by 5 points to 85 as compared to the latest BC PNP Tech-only draw on January 10, 2023.

The cut off score and the number of invitations for today’s draw are broken down below:

Eligible candidates can create an online profile with BC PNP here. Once an online profile is created, profiles are eligible to be invited in one of the upcoming BC PNP draws, based upon the total points depending upon the BC PNP scoring matrix.

Processing Time:

Estimated processing time for 80% of the British Columbia PNP applications is 3 months.

These processing times are calculated from the date a complete application is received by the BC PNP after nomination.

However, selected profiles/candidates in a BC PNP stream may need to submit a request after nomination, in case of any of the following:

  • employment status changes after receiving an invitation in a draw.
  • working permit expiry date is within 180 days of receiving the BC PNP nomination.
  • Also, if family structure of the applicant changes.
