Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) sent out 3,200 invitations to apply (ITAs) in the latest Express Entry draw of 2024 on July 8.
This round of invitations targeted all the Express Entry profiles with a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 420 and above and at least level 7 proficiency in the French language.

- Number of invitations issued: 3,200
- Rank required to be invited to apply: 3,200 or above

- CRS score of lowest-ranked candidate invited: 420
- Tie-breaking rule: May 30, 2024, at 03:37:43 UTC

The tie-breaking rule means if there is more than one candidate with the lowest CRS score, then the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profiles will determine who will get the invitations.
The CRS cutoff score in this draw is exactly the same as we predicted in our June 27 article on Express Entry prediction and deciding factors.

Candidates who have received invitations to apply now have 60 days to respond by submitting the supporting documents for the data they initially provided when creating their profiles.

IRCC has now issued 9,670 invitations to apply (ITAs) in 4 Express Entry draws this month so far which is almost equal to the combined number of invitations sent in May and June.
