On September 21, 2021 the BC PNP (British Columbia) Tech Draw invited 74 candidates for provincial nomination under 4 categories; SI – Skilled Worker, SI – International Graduate, EEBC – Skilled Worker, and EEBC – International Graduate. Minimum score required to be invited in this draw was 80 based on BC’s points calculation system. As compared to previous draw, this draw invited 40 more applicants. Cut off score remained same as in previous BC PNP Tech Pilot Draw.
What is BC PNP Tech Program:
The British Columbia PNP Tech provides tech employers to recruit and retain international employees in 29 tech occupations. It is a prioritized pathway to permanent residency for people working in these 29 tech occupations. It considers all the applicants under these occupations from Skilled Immigration (SI) – Skilled Worker, Skilled Immigration (SI) – International Graduate, Express Entry British Columbia (EEBC) – Skilled Worker, and Express Entry British Columbia (EEBC) – International Graduate.
BC PNP tech draw is held biweekly and offers priority processing of applications. As per BC’s website, 80% of the applications are processed within 2-3 months.
This program does not require LMIA, but a valid job offer is required and must be for at least one year (365 days), and have at least 120 days remaining at the time of application.
Tech program consider the candidates having a valid express entry profile under EEBC (Express Entry BC) categories as well as candidates who only submitted Expression of Interest with BC under SI (Skilled Immigration) category.

Skills Immigration – Skilled Worker (PNP):
- A full-time, indeterminate job offer without any set end date from an employer in BC. (BC PNP Tech Pilot: applicants in eligible tech occupations may have a one-year, full-time job offer)
- Job offer should be in a National Occupational Classification (NOC) skilled occupation (Skill Type 0 or Skill Level A or B).
- At least two (2) years of directly related work experience.
- Wage offer in line with B.C. wage rates for the occupation.
- Currently, have, or be eligible for, legal immigration status in Canada
- For NOC skill level B occupations, meet minimum language requirements of CLB4
- If your job offer is classified as NOC Skill Type 0 or Skill Level A, you are not required to submit valid language test results
- Be qualified for the offered position
- Meet BC PNP minimum income requirements
Skills Immigration (SI) – International Graduate PNP:
- A degree, diploma or certificate from a recognized post-secondary institution in Canada
A job offer for a full-time, indeterminate position in B.C. - A job offer for a full-time, indeterminate position that typically requires a university or college education at a wage that allows you to establish yourself economically in B.C.
- Evidence that you can support yourself (and your dependants if applicable) OR Your must demonstrate that your employment income will allow you to pay for your ongoing housing and living expenses in B.C.
- CLB 4 if you are waorking in CLB B, C, or D category jobs. No language proficiency required for NOC O or A.
- Have or be eligible for legal immigration status in Canada
Express Entry PNP BC – Skilled Worker
- A valid Express Entry Profile
- At least two years of directly related work experience, in a skilled occupation
- A permanent full time job offer from an eligible B.C. employer in a National Occupational Classification (NOC) 0, A, or B position

- Have or be eligible for legal immigration status in Canada.
Express Entry PNP BC – International Graduate:
