August PEI PNP Draw Sent 121 New Invites For PR!

On August 18, PEI PNP Draw (Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program) sent 121 invites for PR, under two different categories. This is the lowest number of invitations sent under single draw by smallest province of Canada in last 12 months. Highest number of invitations (165) were sent in July 2022 draw.

117 candidates were invited under Labour & Express Entry category while just 4 invitations went to Business Work Permit Entrepreneur category. Minimum point threshold for Business Invitations jumped by 37 points 97 as compared to last draw in July 2022.

Prince Edward Island PNP draws are held once a month and are declared around 15th to 20th of every month. Previously, PNP draw on February 17, 2022 invited 123 candidates which was lowest number of invitation in 2022. So far, largest PEI PNP draw was in October 2021 inviting 204 applicants. Overall, PEI PNP has invited 1,112 applicants in 2022.

PEI PNP Draw – EXPRESS ENTRY CATEGORY

Candidates eligible for Express Entry category need to have a valid Expression of Interest (EOI) profile with the PEI PNP in addition to their Express Entry Profile under either FSW, FST or CEC.

PEI PNP Draw – LABOUT IMPACT CATEGORY

Labour Impact Category also requires a valid EOI profile with PEI PNP under one of the streams; Skilled Worker, Critical Worker, or International Graduate. It also requires a valid job offer and support by an employer in PEI.

PEI PNP DRAW – BUSINESS IMPACT CATEGORY

Business Impact Category is for foreign entrepreneurs who want to start their own business in the PEI. Cut off score for this category was 60 in this draw under Work Permit Stream.
