Second Ontario Express Entry Draw Of 2024

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) held the second Express Entry draw of 2024 on January 18 and issued 984 Notifications of Interest (NOIs) for provincial nomination.

This draw focused on Express Entry profiles created between January 18, 2023 and
January 18, 2024, with a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score ranging from 317 to 469.

Only profiles that met the eligibility conditions for the OINP French-speaking Skilled Worker stream were invited to claim provincial nominations in this draw.

Ontario Express Entry French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream Eligibility

To be considered for the OINP French Speaking Skilled Worker draws, you must have a valid Express Entry profile through the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) or the Canadian Experience Class.

Furthermore, you must have an academic level comparable to that of a Canadian bachelor’s degree or higher.

Furthermore, you must have a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level of 7 or higher in the French language proficiency test (TCF/TEF Canada) and a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level of 6 in the English language proficiency test (IELTS/CELPIP).

Furthermore, you must demonstrate sufficient settlement funds by using one or more of the following:

funds as evidenced by the balance listed on bank statements or statements of accounts indicating other investments such as non-locked in, fixed-term deposits, mutual funds, and so on.
annual earnings from continuous employment in Ontario.
a job offer from an employer in the province.

Eligible profiles also need to demonstrate an intention to reside in Ontario, with one or more of the following:

Current or prior employment in the province;
job offers or job interviews;
studying;
volunteering;
leasing or owning property;
professional networks, family links, and personal relationships.
