Toronto Blue Jays Position Details
Please be aware that these are seasonal positions based on the Rogers Centre event schedule for baseball, which runs roughly from March to October 2023.
You might be a good fit for these positions if you meet the following criteria. You are:
- An avid Toronto Blue Jays fan
- Dedicated to providing top-notch client service.
- An expert multitasker who does well in hectic office settings.
- A master at solving issues.
- Passionate about baseball and stadium management.
- Are open to working in all 81 Toronto Blue Jays home games, including those on weekends, holidays, and evenings
Toronto Blue Jays Available Positions
If you want to join Toronto Blue Jays upcoming season, below are available positions. When applying, you may choose up to three roles that interest you.
The following positions are available for hire:
Gate Staff
Gate Staff are in charge of managing the fan admission experience from the moment they step outside the building till they scan their tickets. Gate staff greet all fans with a warm and courteous demeanour, which helps to set the tone for the fan experience. In addition, they ensure that only supporters with valid tickets enter the premises and will also provide directions.
Support Staff
Support Staff will primarily work at Rogers Centre events such as concerts and assist with baseball game staffing requirements. Support Staff will be cross-trained and will be able to serve as Ushers as well as Gate Staff.
Ushers
Ushers are in charge of welcoming fans into their section, assisting them in finding their seats, and ensuring that all fans are seated in their assigned seats. In addition, ushers remain on the scene for the length of the game, ensuring that the fan experience and fan safety are maintained.
Access Support Ushers
Like Ushers, Access Support Ushers help fans with accessibility concerns. Ushers provide support through wheelchair escorts or a strong arm to those who want assistance getting around the stadium. They are in charge of providing an inclusive experience for all of our fans.
Activation Team Members
Members of the Activation Team will assist the Marketing and Fan Experience teams with promotional giveaways, activations, and concourse support.
Retail Sales Associates
Retail Sales Associates will provide the supporters best-in-class service within the Jays Shop locations throughout the stadium. In addition, they will engage and connect with our supporters by outfitting them in official Blue Jays clothing to create team pride and community.
Facility Attendants
Facility Attendants will seek to integrate the best practices for ensuring the stadium’s cleanliness and sanitization during events. This includes event cleaning, sanitization, waste management, and inspections.
Facility Team Leaders
Facility Team Leaders will support and supervise the overall culture of the facility services team and improve the fan experience by adhering to best practices for stadium cleanliness and sanitization during events. This includes being in charge of all areas of event cleaning, sanitizing, trash management, and inspections.
Facility Head Supervisors
Facility Head Supervisors will lead, coach, and build the overall culture of the facility services team and improve the fan experience by incorporating best practices for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitization of the stadium during events. Supervise all areas of event cleaning, sanitizing, trash management, and inspections.
Fan Services Representatives
Fan Services Representatives will assist fans with any stadium or event-related issues or concerns they may have in person, by phone, or by email at all Toronto Blue Jays home games and Rogers Centre concerts and events.
Fan Services Supervisors
During the Blue Jays season, Fan Services Supervisors will oversee a staff of Fan Services representatives. They are also in charge of the general direction of the concourse-facing Fan Services staff, ensuring that spectators receive excellent customer service. They will accomplish this through collaboration with the Fan Services Coordinator and Director.
Ballpark Setup Attendants
Ballpark Setup Attendants are in charge of setting up and breaking down tables, chairs, and activation equipment for various events held at Rogers Centre, including baseball games, meetings, presentations, training courses, camps, clinics, concerts, trade exhibitions, and so on.
Field Operations Attendants
Field Operations Attendants will help with front and back-of-house field operations at Rogers Centre. They will play a major role in installing and maintaining the baseball field at Rogers Centre, assuring that it satisfies MLB standards.
They will also help install signs, backstop nets, foul poles, and stadium seat repairs as needed. The Field Operations Attendant will be part of a team trying to provide a world-class field for Major League Baseball.
Security
Security guarantees that all guests and staff are secure and comfortable. They conduct enhanced security inspections upon admission to ensure a controlling influence at all Rogers Centre entrances and throughout the building. To be considered, applicants must have a current security license.
50/50 Fundraisers
During Blue Jays home games in 2023, 50/50 Fundraisers will sell 50/50 tickets to Blue Jays fans at Rogers Centre. Although sales expertise is not essential, Toronto Blue Jays is seeking people enthusiastic about raising cash for the Jays Care Foundation.
50/50 Support Staff
50/50 Support Staff will drive the 50/50 team, taking the lead on equipment setup, debugging technological issues, and inspiring fundraisers to meet sales goals. Required qualified include people with excellent organizational, punctuality, and teamwork skills.
