IRCC Launches New Online Tracker For Express Entry and PNP

Today, IRCC announces that they are expanding the use of new online application status tracker to Express Entry and Provincial Nominee applications.

The applicants for 4 categories under the Express Entry system; Canadian Experience Class, Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program and Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) will now be able to use this online tracker.

Previously, this application status tracker was only available for Citizenship and sponsorship applications for spouse, partner, or dependent child.

Applicants can use the tracker to stay updated on processing of their application and be informed, if any activity/action is required on their end to keep their file moving.

Furthermore, this tracker will promote transparency by giving applicants and their consultants access to the same information, that they would normally obtain by contacting IRCC.

As usual, to be safe, the IRCC put discretion first, stating:

  • Before IRCC reaches a final judgement on your application, the information provided through the tracker is subject to change at any moment.
  • There may also be delays or discrepancies between the information displayed in the tracker and the actual progress on your application.

How To Create Your IRCC Application Status Tracker?

New applicants will need to create an online user account to use this application status tracker.

Applicants will need below listed information create their own application status tracker account:

Immigration consultants or paid representatives will need below mentioned information to create tracker account:

  • Party ID
  • First name (given name)
  • Last name (family name, surname)
