IEC 2024 New Round of Invitations Issue >5,000 Invites

In the IEC 2024 new round of invitations during the week ending February 11, 2024, Canada sent out over 5,000 invitations under the three IEC 2024 categories.

A total of 4,643 individuals have been sent invitations to apply for open work permits under the IEC Working Holiday category.

This year, more than 33,000 invitations have already been issued under IEC’s Working Holiday Visa category.

This year, IEC 2024 aims to invite more than 74,000 applicants from more than 35 eligible countries.

Candidates in the Young Professional category received more than 257 invitations to apply for closed work permits, while those in the International Co-op (internship) category received 118.

According to the February 6 IRCC processing update, 80% of IEC 2024 applications are being processed within 5 weeks.
